Something got lost in translation here, but what the organizers of the Davidoff Genusswoche mean is a week of eating pleasure, as in 10 lunches and dinners (price ranges: CHF 125 to 480 per person) cooked by chefs from prestigious European albeit mostly Swiss eateries and served at venues ranging from the Alp Hut Walig to the Gstaad Palace. Some of those chefs are pretty formidable by the way, e.g. André Jaeger of Schaffhausen’s Fischerzunft and Dominique Gauthier of Le Chat Botté (Beau-Rivage) in Geneva. More at www.saveurs-gstaad.ch.
