Michèle Laird, born an expat, was schooled in eight different countries. She worked in the arts successively in France, the USA and GB before settling down in Switzerland 20 years ago. Her dedication to educational causes led her to become President of the Vaud Parents Cantonal Association and then head of development (communication and fundraising) for seven years in an international school. Her three children attended both the Swiss public school system and an international school.
